Matt selected French Toast as the first recipe to make from the Cookbook.  What better way to hone your skills than to make something like this for 10 people!  Sounds like a great way to start the morning with friends.     French toast was incredibly easy once we got moving and is a great thing to make when hosting many people. Plan to eat-as-you-go, hot out of the pan, as opposed to everyone sitting down together.

    This made a nice (and tasty) complement to some football watching! We did use a thicker bread, which created a softer finished product. I prefer a harder French bread (as called for in the recipe), but both are scrumptious and many prefer a softer version.

    Such a great time and what a great recipe to bring friends together. We will definitely be making this again.

    Also, we had 2 loaves of baguette leftover so we made your garlic bread with it…so delicious!
